Status This Week
Omni’s publicly documented bargaining effort remained focused on revising the tentative agreement members had rejected. No new dated bargaining recap, replacement agreement, or ratification announcement was located in the union materials reviewed for October 10–16.
Process Signals
- CWA-AFA’s July 21 update identified duty-period length, compensation, scheduling protections, and benefits among the priorities for a revised agreement.
- Its August 16 update described proposal preparation and an expected meeting with the mediator. That forecast does not confirm a later session or its outcome.
- A revised proposal and a complete tentative agreement are not the same milestone. The reviewed sources did not establish a new member vote by October 16.
CrewSignal Assessment
The relevant question is how a revised package addresses the concerns behind the earlier rejection. The existing public updates identify those concerns but do not establish this week’s bargaining results. Their age should not be mistaken for proof that negotiations stopped.
