Republic / Mesa

Week ending 2026.07.24

Editor’s Note: This Merger & Integration hub tracks airline consolidation signals, commercial partnerships, and representation-level implications. Content is analytical and informational in nature and does not constitute investment advice, merger prediction, or legal guidance. CrewSignal distinguishes carefully between commercial partnerships, operational integrations, closed mergers, and representation-level single-carrier considerations.

Status Summary

Republic / Mesa reached a concrete contract-administration milestone on July 22 when contractual boarding pay began for the combined flight-attendant group. CWA-AFA publicly credited cooperation with IBT for the implementation, and the previously published schedule had identified July 22 as the date requiring computer programming at both Mesa and Republic.

The JCBA provision pays 30 minutes per boarding at 50% of the applicable hourly rate, including qualifying reboardings, and places that pay above guarantee. The implementation is a measurable payroll and technology integration step, but it does not complete the broader merger process. CrewSignal identified no new exact-week public pilot JCBA, integrated-seniority-list, operating-certificate, or NMB representation milestone.
