Process Signals
- The current Frontier status page continues to show the company owing responses on Compensation, Hours of Service, Scheduling and Reserve. Its summary displays 10 sections tentatively agreed, 9 in play, 7 still to be proposed and 1 deadlocked.
- The NMB weekly activity report for August 10–14 listed no Frontier-specific new docket, reassignment, ratification or closure. That does not establish whether the already-open mediation case met during the previously scheduled window.
- CWA-AFA’s September 8 headquarters picket remains a public-pressure and mobilization event. It is not an NMB release, a cooling-off period, or a direct legal strike trigger under the Railway Labor Act.

A multi-carrier union can supply professional bargaining staff, national communications and cross-carrier mobilization for a prolonged mediation campaign. Frontier demonstrates that capacity, but the week also exposes an accountability gap: a scheduled session without a public recap cannot be scored as progress. The next meaningful evidence is a written compensation response, restoration or replacement of disputed prior understandings, additional tentative agreements, or a formal NMB process change.
