Member voting on the Air Wisconsin tentative agreement remained open through this reporting week and was scheduled to close September 14 at noon ET. No ratification result existed by the 2026.09.11 cutoff, so the agreement remained proposed rather than final.
Contract timing: Air Wisconsin’s Flight Attendant agreement became amendable on 2022.10.01. As of 2026.09.11, 3 years, 11 months and 10 days—1,441 days—had elapsed since that amendable date. The current-round opener is dated 2022.08.16, 4 years and 26 days—1,487 days—before this report. CWA-AFA’s broader description of a process exceeding five years remains separate.
Process Signals
- The Master Executive Council continued to recommend ratification, but the membership vote—not leadership endorsement—determines whether the proposed settlement becomes an agreement.
- The two-year term and eighteen-month opener may reduce the period before members can seek further changes. They do not by themselves establish adequate compensation, work rules, implementation or job security.

CrewSignal Assessment
The final days of voting are the point at which communications resources should give members enough information to judge the complete package, not merely the headline improvements. The union has demonstrated the ability to conduct roadshows and a systemwide vote; the substantive outcome remains pending.
The 1,441-day post-amendable record does not disappear if members approve the TA. It becomes part of the comparative evaluation of what CWA-AFA obtained, how long it took and whether the short term and early opener adequately compensate for the wait.
