Status This Week
No major carrier-specific bargaining development was publicly posted during the 2026.08.01–2026.08.07 reporting window.
Process Signals
- The National Mediation Board’s FY2027 budget justification continues to list Air Wisconsin among the CWA-AFA flight attendant cases in federal mediation.
- As of the 2026.08.09 source check, the NMB had not posted a weekly activity report covering 2026.08.03–2026.08.07. Its latest available report, through 2026.07.31, listed no new Mediation/ADR dockets, case reassignments, ratifications or closures.
- The public Air Wisconsin negotiations page still centers the 2022 opener rather than a newly dated August bargaining update. AFA’s 2026 president’s report separately describes continued Section 6 mediation and a recall-and-wage agreement reached during the carrier’s operational transition.
CrewSignal Assessment
This remains an active but publicly thin mediation file. Air Wisconsin also illustrates why multi-carrier institutional capacity can matter at a small carrier: bargaining, legal and research support can continue through ownership and operating changes. That continuity is an advantage only if it produces measurable contract gains, and no new comprehensive-agreement milestone was visible this week.
